Ensemble FlorilègeEnsemble Florilège is a new Boston-based period instrument ensemble that includes some of the city's best early music practitioners who are members of ensembles such as the Handel and Haydn Society and Emmanuel Music. With founder and harpsichordist Michael Sponseller, Ensemble Florilège has begun to passionately explore some lesser heard works of the 17th & 18th centuries. Past performances include Charpentier’s pastoral opera Les Arts Florissants and J.S. Bach’s Concertos for two, three and four harpsichords. |
